Instruction Book
I know this sounds silly, but does it come with an instruction book, also how easy is it to transfer songs onto the MP4 player from a cd or is their other ways?

Don't worry, it's not a silly question. Yes the MP4 player does come with an instuction booklet. For transferring songs from your cd the best way is to download them on to your computer. After that plug the MP4 player into the computer and copy them straight over from your computer to your MP4 player.

Does the MP4 work exactly like an IPod Nano or are there changes to the way you use it?

The key differences between the MP4 and the iPod nano are@
- You do not any additional software such as iTunes to download the music on the MP4 player. You can transfer the music straight across from your computer and if you want to delete songs you can do this directly on the MP4 player without having to sync it with your computer. For the iPod nano you need to download and sync with your computer through iTunes.
- The MP4 player has an fm radio, the iPod does not
- The iPod has a scrolling system to get to songs, the MP4 player does not. You will find albums on the MP4 player by clicking through the music folders. It is pretty easy to use but not as sophisticated as the scrolling system on the iPod nano.

iTunes are specific to just iPods but you can convert the songs to MP3 format using the iTunes software. You can then upload the MP3 songs to our MP4 player and play them with no problems.

I'm really happy with this. I only really need it to play songs but like the games on it too. I was a bit worried about finding songs when it doesn't have the scrolling system but no need to worry - no problems at all :-) Glad it has the fm tuner too. Bargain!

Unfortunately our MP4 player does not have the touch and scroll system as this is patented by Apple and available only on iPods.
Ours is controlled by clicking on the menu button and also the buttons on the left and right. To find specific songs there is the option to go into specific album folders within the files you have saved. This cuts out the need for continuous clicking.
Scrolling system
Is the touch and scroll system, when you just lightly touch the round donut shaped control under the screen and move your finger on and around it to navigate, available in this like it is on the normal ipod nano?
