So they're still there as others fall by the way side. John and Edward, together they are John and Edward! I think after the initial hatred of the arrogant talentless twins there are a lot of people developing a soft spot for them. Even Simon, after all his rants about how he hated them is now getting soft on them and avoided the chance to boot them out. But at the same time, they are not far away from mass hatred!

Personally, I disliked them from day one. I don't mind cocky people if they've got substance but these guys were cocky for no reason whatsoever and they were downright rude to other contestants. Everyone from Simon to Danny to Cheryl to even Ronan Keating (who Luis had compared the boys with) told Luis get rid of them but he saw something that no one else did.

Cheryl, while voting them off last night has come round to admitting they are her guilty pleasure and to be honest they are the stars of the show. Oli is my personal favourite and I hope he wins but for the pure car crash comedy and entertainment John and Edward are brilliant. Love them or hate them they get everyone talking and are enhancing the viewing figures. Unlike Danyl they are taking the negative comments and getting on with the show.

The one issue they will have though is the backlash when they put out someone who has genuine talent and a personality. If Lloyd goes next week then that's fine but if the twins end up putting anyone else out the hate mob will grow bigger. The clock is ticking boys but it was mmm memorable while it lasted.
