There are heroes. There are superheroes. And then there's...
There's what...? There's Will Smith!! Hancock is the new film for the multi talented Mr Cool which was released on the 2nd of July in the UK.

The movie sees Will Smith bringing is mixing up his comedy and all action style - A super hero who is funny, that will make a change from Superman, Batman and Spiderman!! :-)

Will Smith is a down and out loser with super powers who spends his time drinking and messing about with the ladies having lost a large part of his memory. He is despised by everyone and the situation is summed up when a kid asks him
"Aren't people supposed to like super heroes?!"

So what has he forgot? He forgot that he used to be a super hero that people did like and was in love with another super hero (played by Charlize Theron). The problem was that when they were together their powers made each other sick and the result was that Will Smith lost his memory. When a publicist comes along to try and straighten him out he meets up again with Charlize Theron who is now the publicist's wife and the sparks begin to fly again. The quest to put his powers to good use starts again.

My wife and I were in LA when they were filming one of the scenes. Here's a couple of pictures we took while they were filming the final scene. To be part of the extras you had to be dressed all in grey, we were very tempted to go back and get changed!!
