Britney Spears' new album Blackout was released on the 29th of October. Her MTV performance may have been a complete shambles and her video for Gimme More is not fantastic either but the single has been a big success and her album is bound to get a lot of exposure.

The Gimme More single might lack depth in lyrics but it is kinda catchy :-) She did not bring her personal life in to her songs on this album and although her social life is a mess the reviews for this album from buyers on Amazon have been really good. Piece of Me has the potential to be another great single.

Who cares about her personal life. Gimme More, Break The Ice, Get Naked and Perfect Lover are all brilliant catchy songs. It is a lot different to her previous sound but a definite improvement - it is really funky and cool.
